Some parts definitely came damaged as most reviews stated but we only ended up getting the door replaced as it faces outwards. Not as hard to put together as most people said, just takes a long time. Overall, it's a good dresser/changing table for the price.

Table is sturdy, well made, parts fit well, metal guided drawers slide smoothly, clean lines, design trimmed edges add a touch of quality. Expect table to last several yrs until time to select more permanent childrens furniture. Packed very well but box damaged in delivery due to unruly size and weight, the nature of the product. Had question about damage and customer service was helpful and suportive. Like diy items, the more parts the more difficult it seems. We each spent half hr reading manual and 2hr assembling. Must have correct sim p le tools, read and follow directions exactly, have 1person assembling, and one person to steady parts as its assembled while confirming directions. Packing suggestion...cardboard protectors along all shrink wrapped edges shift in transport, making edges open for banging. Perhaps another layer of shrink wrap around all packing will help prevent cardboard edge protectors from shifting. Well designed and a very good product for the money.

My husband and I did a lot of research on various websites before buying this changing table. A lot of the reviews had us scared that this would be a larger task than we wanted to take on. I was relieved when we laid out all of the parts and reviewed the instructions. Yes there are a lot of pieces and there are a couple of instructions that could use better image details but building the changing table was not nearly the nightmare that everyone makes it out to be. If you have ever bought a dresser from Ikea and built it then you can handle this. You can consider that your training and this is the big brother to your Ikea project. It took roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours for my husband and I to build. The quality of the materials is also better than I expected. It is made out of the MDF and is not solid wood so you do want to be careful that you don't over tork your screw-gun as you could push the screws past their set point and puncture the wood (we did have 1 instance of this but luckily the changing top covered it. All in all sturdy, a great product for the price, and I think it will hold up well. We bought the taller dresser too and would recommend the South Shore products to anyone with half a knowledge of furniture building who doesn't want to spend the ridiculous amount of money that some of the other baby furniture brands cost.

Returns
We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy for most of our products. You can request a refund if you are dissatisfied for any reason with your product. (Restocking Fee May Apply). Only factory defects are accepted as a reason for a return. In the case of factory defects, if available, we will replace the product for you. When returning an item, it must be in all of the original packaging and include all of the original accessories or items that came with it. The item and package should be in original and perfect condition. You will be required to cover shipping on the return of non-defective items. All returns MUST be done within 30 days of date of purchase. Please note that we cannot give refunds or replacements after the 30 day limit has expired. When sending in a return, please note that it can take up to 7 business days for the return to be processed. We do our best to process as quickly as possible. We are extremely fair, and in the rare event of something out of the ordinary happening with our products or shipping, we will gladly work with you to find a fair resolution.
