Offered for sale is a pictorial map illustrating the flora and fauna of the Pacific Ocean was published in 1940 for Pacific House of San Francisco. This is the second plate of a six-plate series entitled Pageant of the Pacific, which was ordered by the San Francisco Bay Expedition Company, for the Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco in 1939. This example has age yellowing , some age spots, and some light creases in the center (see photo). I do not see any tears. No tape. It is printed on very heavy paper.
