'HARDANGER DOILY with beads - Hardanger Doily

Description

I have stitched this doily on 25 count evenweave Lugana fabric from Zweigart located in the Black Forest of Germany. The threads are light and medium pink and white pearl cotton from DMC.  I added clear beads from Mill Hill for an extra touch. This is the perfect decoration for Springtime.
It measures 14" from corner to corner and 11" across.
It represents the very beautiful and lacey Hardanger embroidery that is so special and almost forgotten.
This treasure is sure to find a perfect place in your Home and will be handed down to Generations to come.
